Shinsetsu meaning “fresh snow” and “kind” has a double meaning that both reflects and relates to who we are at Shinsetsu Mountain Guides, Niseko, Japan.

A Guiding/ Ski Instruction Company that began operation in 2005 with one simple goal; to show visitors all that the Niseko region has to offer. When you combine the deep, dry consistent snow with amazing food and ancient Japanese culture Niseko is a “must ski” destination.

Whether you are a first timer or return visitor, our ever growing and evolving product line will have something for you. We offer a range from kids ski school to back country adventure, a hole in the wall restaurant to new cultural experiences. It might just be for one day or it could be a 15-day road trip adventure, Shinsetsu Guides will have you covered.
